The Knighthawks are one of two B-52 squadrons that form the 5th Wing based in North Dakota. Barksdale Air Base in Louisiana and the home of the 5th Bomb Wing up north near Minot are the two remaining bases for the 76 Stratofortresses still in active service today.

One of only ten airworthy survivors left today, this P-38 Lightning sports the special "23 Skidoo" nose art of Captain Perry John "Pee Wee" Dahl, who flew this fighter in the Pacific Theater of World War II from 1943. The aircraft is preserved in flying condition at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, California.

Domna is the home base for several air regiments of the Russian Armed Forces. Qantas unveiled its updated livery on VH-QPJ, coinciding with plans to introduce the new 787 in 2017. in addition to new titles, a newly stylized version of the kangaroo on the stabilizer, and a silver band in front of the red surfaces, the famous winged kangaroo will be applied below the cockpit. The rebranding of the entire fl eet is scheduled to be fi nished by 2020, in time for the airlines’ centennial anniversary.
